RECONSTRUCTION OF TILLARY STREET, PHASE 2

Project Highlights

The second phase of this multiple phase roadway reconstruction project in downtown Brooklyn covers Tillary Street from Cadman Plaza to Prince Street, Cadman Plaza from Red Cross Place to Tillary Street and associated public open spaces. The objective of this project is to improve vehicular operations and safety, enhance pedestrian and bicycle experience and to upgrade the overall visual appearance of a major gateway to Brooklyn.

Restani succeeded on this project by harnessing efficiencies learned from Tillary Street, Phase 1. Restani completed the multi-disciplinary project by tapping into our various expertise in roadway construction, utility work and water works. The scope of work included underground utility replacement and plumbing upgrades through full pavement and sidewalk reconstruction.
